Cash Balance Forecast

The dashed portion of your cashflow chart isn't a guess, it's a projection built from your own recurring income and bills, carried forward roughly six months from today.

    How the forecast is built

Fyscal looks at your recurring transactions, the rent, salary, subscriptions, and other repeating items you've set up, and projects them forward month by month, adding them to your current balance to estimate where you'll land.

    Reading the chart

The solid line is actual, historical balance. The dashed line is forecast. Hovering a forecasted point shows the biggest expected merchants driving that month's change, so if the forecast dips, you can immediately see which bill or drop in income is responsible.

    Granularity and the forecast

Switching between D, M, Q, and Y changes how the forecast is displayed too, daily gives you a smooth day-by-day projection, while yearly compresses it into a broader long-range view.

Tip: The forecast is only as accurate as your recurring transactions. If a subscription changed price or a bill got cancelled, update it under Recurring Transactions so the forecast reflects reality.
