Recurring Transactions
By ZohaibRecurring Transactions is the master list of everything that repeats on a schedule, your rent, salary, subscriptions, and any other bill or income you don't want to re-enter by hand every single time.
The recurring table
Each row shows the merchant, its category, which account it's tied to, how often it repeats, when it's next due, the amount, and whether it's currently active or paused.
Adding a recurring transaction
Click Add Recurring Transaction and fill in the merchant, amount, account, category, and how often it repeats, weekly, monthly, or whatever fits. Fyscal then automatically schedules future occurrences of it for you.
Pausing vs. deleting
- Pause: keeps the recurring rule saved but stops generating new scheduled occurrences until you resume it, useful for a subscription you've temporarily frozen.
- Resume: brings a paused rule back to active and regenerates its upcoming scheduled occurrences.
- Delete: removes the rule entirely, along with any of its future scheduled occurrences that haven't posted yet. Transactions that already happened and were recorded stay untouched in your history.
Tip: Use the search box and column sorting once your recurring list grows, it's common to end up with a dozen or more subscriptions and bills over time.
