Touring Your Dashboard
By ZohaibThe Overview page is what you land on right after signing in, and it answers "how am I doing?" at a glance before you dig into any one area. Every widget on it controls its own time period independently, so you can look at this month's budget while your net worth chart is showing the last year.
The top cards
- Net Worth: total assets minus liabilities in your home currency, with how that's moved since last month, plus a 'See trend' link that opens the fuller net worth trend page.
- Net Income: income minus expenses for a period you choose, month to date, quarter to date, or year to date, with income and expenses broken out separately.
- Budget: a ring chart showing how much of this month's budget you've used so far, alongside a bar showing how far you are through the month, so you can tell at a glance if you're pacing ahead of or behind your spending plan.
The charts below
- Financial Performance: a bar-and-line view of income, expenses, and net income over roughly the past year, with a small settings toggle to choose which of the three you want to see.
- Monthly Spend Pattern: a calendar heatmap showing which days you spent the most, hover any day to see that day's total and top categories.
- Top Spend Categories: a ranked bar chart of your biggest spending categories for the month, each labeled with the category and amount.
First time here?
If you haven't added an account yet, the top row of cards is replaced with a short onboarding checklist instead. The charts further down the page still render even before that, some of them show a faint preview chart behind a "no data yet" message with a button to fix it, like "Set a budget" or "Add your first account".
Tip: That preview chart behind the empty-state message is intentional, a decorative placeholder so the page looks like a working dashboard rather than a broken one. Once real data starts coming in, the cards fill in on their own.
